Tax Consultant

KPMG Armenia is looking for a Tax Consultant to join its team.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

• Drafting of tax advices to local and international clients on issues arising in the course of their business activities.
• Participation in transfer pricing (TP) projects, including preparation of TP documentation and benchmarking studies under the guidance of senior team members.
• Supporting clients during tax inspections, including assistance in preparing documents and explanations for tax authorities.
• Preparation of appeals and other documentation related to tax disputes under supervision of senior colleagues.
• Drafting Armenian tax alerts related to legislative and regulatory updates.
• Preparation of client engagement letters and participation in pre-engagement risk management procedures.

• Higher education in economics, finance, accounting or audit.
• 1–3 years of experience in tax consulting or in industry as an accountant / tax specialist.
• Good understanding of the tax legislation of the Republic of Armenia (CIT, VAT, PIT, WHT, etc.) and willingness to further deepen tax expertise.

Language requirements

Fluency in Armenian, English and Russian languages (both written and spoken).
