Information Security Junior Officer

Job description

• Handle all information security requests and maintain users’ profiles privileges and security settings;
• Perform periodic user and privileged access reviews, identifying excessive, inappropriate, or conflicting access rights.
• Analyze phishing emails, malware, malicious URLs/domains, and other reported threats
• Schedule and perform security tasks to ensure effectiveness of controls on the different systems;
• Perform security testing on test environments;
• Analyze systems logs and generate security reports;
• Asses main areas of security environment identifying risks and propose mitigations;
• Promote and enforce security awareness within the bank;
• Participate in projects and coordinate Business Continuity planning;
• Other related duties and responsibilities upon request.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Knowledge of information security principles and best practices
• Familiarity with network security technologies and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Understanding of information security and cybersecurity principles, common threats, attack techniques, and defense mechanisms
• Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, authentication, and privileged access
• Operational skills in Windows desktop and server operating systems, as well as Linux operating systems.
• Ability to work co-operatively and productively with team members
• Ability to prioritize and allocate time between different tasks
• Ability to respond to changing situations by continually improving performance
• Ability to communicate security requirements to both technical and non-technical staff.
• Ability to independently learn, evaluate, and implement new security technologies.
• Armenian, Enlish language excellent knowledge, including technical documentation and good knowledge of Russian language.
