Specialist, IT Systems Monitoring Division/Night shift

Job description

The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring of active network equipment working capacity, servers and network infrastructure, IT systems availability and communication services provided by suppliers.

Job responsibilities

• Configure IT system monitoring software
• Monitor active network equipment working capacity
• Monitor network infrastructure working capacity
• Monitor communication services provided by suppliers
• Monitor IT systems’ and servers’ working capacity
• Handle IT Service Desk tickets and incoming calls during non-working hours

Required qualifications

• University degree in engineering
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience
• Basic knowledge of network (knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP(S), LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP)
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2012 and above
• Knowledge of Zabbix will be a plus
• Knowledge of Grafana tool will be a plus
• Knowledge of Prometheus tool will be a plus
• Knowledge of Datadoghq tool will be a plus
• Knowledge of Jira (Confluence, Kanban) software will be a plus
• Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) will be a plus
• Knowledge of web-related software
• Advanced skills of Windows systems usage
• Fluency in Armenian and Russian; good knowledge of English
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and quick response to changing circumstances
• Ability to make quick and independent decisions
